Step-by-Step Guide: How to Perform Smith Machine Incline Press

  1. Set Up: Adjust the incline of the bench and position it under the Smith machine. Load the desired weight onto the Smith bar and set it at chest height.
  2. Grip and Position: Lie on the bench with your feet flat on the floor. Grip the barbell with hands slightly wider than shoulder-width apart.
  3. Press Up: Lift the barbell off the rack and lower it slowly towards your upper chest, keeping your elbows at a 45-degree angle.
  4. Press Up: Press the barbell back up to the starting position, fully extending your arms while keeping your chest engaged.
  5. Repeat: Perform the desired number of repetitions, focusing on a controlled movement and proper form.
